Maurice "Hotrod" Hulbert, a performer with the Brown Skin Models, said The Brown Skin Models were the epitome of show business in the late 1930's, featuring beautiful girls wearing fantastic and elaborate costumes. The Brown Skin Models danced in variety shows that performed across the United States in the Chittlin' Circuit and for shows like the Royal American Shows.
