The Center for Southern Folklore Presents...

Watch our show on the Library Channel 18 in Memphis!

For almost 30 years we've been broadcasting interviews and performances from some of the South's legendary characters.  The show continues to evolve but always maintains its core mission to present the viewer with an opportunity to learn something new from their own back yard.

These programs feature interviews with artists, performers, craftspeople, local historians and folklorists. From food demonstrations to musical performances these programs provide some of the most outstanding talkers sharing their particular knowledge of Southern Life and culture such as Wood Bell, Othar Turner, Joe Scott, Charlie Musselwhite and Evelyn Young to name but a few.

Our current show talks about amazing art by Gray and Angi Cooper on display at the corner of Union and Cleveland in Memphis.  We also interview blue's greats Blind Mississippi Morris & Brad Webb as they demonstrate their skils...  Keep on watching!

Purchase prints and cd's featured on the show in our store!
